Detroit Lions right tackle Gosder Cherilus was not fined for a hit that injured the left knee of Vikings defensive end Jared Allen in Minnesota's 20-16 victory over Detroit on Sunday.
In the second quarter, Cherilus was on his knees when Allen was in pursuit of Daunte Culpepper, about eight yards away from the quarterback.
Cherilus put a shoulder into Allen's left knee, and Allen crumpled to the turf. Allen was furious and had to be restrained by teammate Ray Edwards.
He left the game but later returned.
Allen is questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona.
In other fines:
Fred Evans was fined $5,000 for unnecessary roughness for grabbing an opponent's facemask in the second quarter.
Lions fullback Moran Norris and Vikings linebacker Napoleon Harris were each fined $5,000 for unnecessary roughness, striking an opponent in the head for their mix-up right after the Allen play.
