Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz said from day one he wanted to improve the team's run defense. The Lions hope to take a big step in that direction today as they meet with run-stuffing, 350-pound defensive tackle Grady Jackson. Jackson was booked on a flight to Detroit on Tuesday night and was scheduled to take a physical this morning before he meets with team officials. "We've already exchanged some contract proposals with the Lions," said Jackson's agent, Angelo Wright. Jackson, 36, started 14 games for the Atlanta Falcons last year.
